Next the Wizard gives you a 'browse location' option. Click 'install from a specific location' and continue. Rightclick and hit Update Driver - the Wizard opens. In device manager open Human Interface Devices - you will find Apple Keyboard or whatever an iMac has there. You might even want to drag the contents of the Leopard disk (drivers) right on to your (Windows) "desktop". Now you can one-by-one install the drivers using Windows hardware wizard. Click on the LEFT side the plus sign ➕ next to the machine's DVD drive icon (the reason we opened the "explore" style directory). When I go into My Computer, and double-click on the cd, the installation process starts. This is the same version (same disk, in fact) of Windows that I installed on my old 17-inch iMac, and it worked perfectly then.Īfter I finish the Windows installation, and put the Leopard disk in to install the drivers, nothing happens. ![]() So, I've been able to use Boot Camp to install Windows XP, SP 2 on my new 20-inch aluminum iMac. ![]()
